Every spring, students from the 7th grade visit the Karen Noonan Center (part of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation) on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. While there, they participate in a variety of environmental programming including dredging for oysters, setting crab pots, marsh mucking, exploring the Bay and so much more. They also participate in a conservation challenge that encourages them to save water, energy, and food and to identify the organisms around them.
