A Donor Funded School

The Washington School for Girls is a tuition-free independent Catholic school. We fund the school budget, greater than $18,000 per student, almost entirely through the generosity of individuals, foundations, and organizations that feel passionately about our mission.

Your gift helps our girls...

Develop Competency: We are committed to ensuring each girl has the tools to succeed in our world, while empowering her to tap into her individual talents as she moves into high school and beyond.

Practice Compassion: In spite of the challenging and often violent nature of their communities, our girls seek ways to lend a helping hand and reach out to those in need throughout the year.

Explore Our World: By exposing our students to diverse careers, different art traditions, various colleges, and many more opportunities, we change their expectations for themselves and their future.

Scholars Circle

The Scholars Circle is a special program that allows supporters to sponsor a student during her three years at The VIEW Campus. For $18,000 a year for three years, you will support one girl during grades three through five.

You will change a girl's life by:

  • Ensuring she has the education she needs to graduate high school and beyond

  • Supporting her development as a moral leader in her community

  • Expanding her world through exposure to the arts and career-themed guest speakers

As a thank you to all our members of the Scholars Circle, you are:

  • Periodically updated on how the students from your class are doing

  • Invited to exclusive events including a lunch with the girls each spring

  • Welcomed to join the students at school for a visit and tour

Change a girl’s life today through a three-year personal commitment or by leading a group of donors.
